Training on ‘Introduction to Total Quality Performance
April 9 @ 8:00 am - April 11 @ 5:00 pm

For Ugandan companies to be competitive enough, it is essential to put in place measures and mechanisms that all goods and services for domestic or export consumption meet the required quality standards through appropriate production processes. Total Quality Management is an organization-wide effort to install and make a permanent culture where employees continuously improve their ability to provide on-demand quality products and services that customers will find of value.
We have designed this course to provide participants with a general understanding of how to implement quality management principles and practices within an organization to enhance employee satisfaction, employee performance and customer satisfaction.
The course will also enable participants to interact with key Uganda National Bureau (UNBS) officials so that they learn more about UNBS procedures of product and System Certification. During the interaction, participants will discuss practical challenges Industrialists face in the Process of Product and System Certification.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Measure their contribution to quality improvements to their products or services.
- Appreciate how their work contributes to the quality of the end product.

We shall use a variety of methods ranging from demonstrations, group discussions, group presentations, individual assignments, and observation of short educative movies, games, and simulations.
