Facilitators

1. John Odada
Is a Professional Accountant and is a Member of ACCA (UK) and CPA (U).
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Makerere University,
a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue administration from the East Africa
School of Taxation and the Bachelor of Science Applied Accounting from Oxford
Brookes University and several other qualifications.
He has wealth of experience in financial accounting and financial analysis,
corporate financial planning and control, financial reporting and audits, tax
administration, business partnering and relationship management, management
systems, corporate governance and people management gained from a number of
reputable organisations in the private and public sector. He has served as Senior
Accountant, Director Finance and Administration, Auditor and many other
responsibilities in consulting services. He served as Manager and Tax Advisor at
Lead Marc Certified Public Accountants, Senior Accountant at Tronder Power
Limited, Accountant/Director Finance and Administration at UMA, Accounts Officer
at Post Bank Uganda. He served as Consultant with the Local Government
Consulting Group, where he served in providing Capacity building and specialized
consultancy services to the public, private sector and NGOS. He has also served
as a Lecturer at Makerere University Business School. He is currently an Associate
Consultant at Uganda Management Institute

2. Nalubowa Eva Nalubowa
Is a Corporate Finance and Tax Lawyer. She is also the founder and Managing
Partner of JRK Advisory, a leading legal and financial advisory firm. Eva advises
both local and international clients on complex legal and financial matters. She
also lectures in Banking and Negotiable Instruments at Uganda Christian
University School of Law. Eva holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance
Law from Boston University (USA) and an Advanced Diploma in International
Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK). She also holds a
Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda
Christian University. In her previous roles, Eva served as a Global Structuring
Manager with MBO Partners (USA), where she advised private equity firms on
investment strategies, business structuring, tax planning, compliance, and ESG
considerations. She also gained valuable experience as a Legal and Tax
Consultant with KPMG, advising clients on corporate governance, cross-border
tax matters, tax planning, and compliance.

3. URA Facilitators
The main facilitators will be supported by Uganda Revenue Authority
officials who will handle some components of EFRIS
