Management of HIV/AIDS at the Workplace/CSR Activities |
Uganda Manufacturers Association is cooperating with USAID through the Emerging Markets Group-Health Initiatives in the Private Sector (EMG- HIPS Project). HIPS-Project (2007-2010) works with the Ugandan business community to find cost-effective ways to ensure access to vital health services by company employees, their dependants and the surrounding community members. The project’s goal is to provide technical assistance to design and implement comprehensive workplace health programmes to maximize access to HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB), malaria prevention and treatment services and to provide Reproductive Health (RH) and Family Planning (FP) knowledge to the people at the workplace
