DESCRIPTION:Facilitators \n1. John Odada\nIs a Professional Accountant and is a Member of ACCA (UK) and CPA (U).\nHe holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Makerere University\,\na Postgraduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue administration from the East Africa\nSchool of Taxation and the Bachelor of Science Applied Accounting from Oxford\nBrookes University and several other qualifications.\nHe has wealth of experience in financial accounting and financial analysis\,\ncorporate financial planning and control\, financial reporting and audits\, tax\nadministration\, business partnering and relationship management\, management\nsystems\, corporate governance and people management gained from a number of\nreputable organisations in the private and public sector. He has served as Senior\nAccountant\, Director Finance and Administration\, Auditor and many other\nresponsibilities in consulting services. He served as Manager and Tax Advisor at\nLead Marc Certified Public Accountants\, Senior Accountant at Tronder Power\nLimited\, Accountant/Director Finance and Administration at UMA\, Accounts Officer\nat Post Bank Uganda. He served as Consultant with the Local Government\nConsulting Group\, where he served in providing Capacity building and specialized\nconsultancy services to the public\, private sector and NGOS. He has also served\nas a Lecturer at Makerere University Business School. He is currently an Associate\nConsultant at Uganda Management Institute \n2. Nalubowa Eva Nalubowa\nIs a Corporate Finance and Tax Lawyer. She is also the founder and Managing\nPartner of JRK Advisory\, a leading legal and financial advisory firm. Eva advises\nboth local and international clients on complex legal and financial matters. She\nalso lectures in Banking and Negotiable Instruments at Uganda Christian\nUniversity School of Law. Eva holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance\nLaw from Boston University (USA) and an Advanced Diploma in International\nTaxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK). She also holds a\nPostgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda\nChristian University. In her previous roles\, Eva served as a Global Structuring\nManager with MBO Partners (USA)\, where she advised private equity firms on\ninvestment strategies\, business structuring\, tax planning\, compliance\, and ESG\nconsiderations. She also gained valuable experience as a Legal and Tax\nConsultant with KPMG\, advising clients on corporate governance\, cross-border\ntax matters\, tax planning\, and compliance. \n3.
