Below is the list of proposed repair, maintenance and upgrade works for the UMA Multipurpose Hall.

STORM DRAIN CHANNEL WORKS

Scope of work;

1. Repairs to existing stone work walls to fill up cracks and gaps that are taking in water.
2. Repairs on existing stone work walls to fill up cracks and gaps.
3. Smoothen out channel floor so that storm water and debris run off faster.
4. Raise channel walls to required level to allow larger volumes of water flow.
5. Expansion of two vehicle bridges running across the channel.
6. Back filling the raised areas with marram and compaction of marram.
7. Reinstate collapsed brick wall.

REPAIRS TO MULTIPURPOSE HALL ROOF

Scope of work;

1. Filling of leaks in the iron sheets.
2. Replacement of damaged iron sheets.
3. Bolting down loose iron sheets.
4. Relaying of insulating sheets underneath the iron sheets.
5. Installation of additional cyclones to deal with build-up of heat in the hall.
6. Installation of flashing sheets to cover spaces through which insects, birds and storm water enters the facility.

2. Replacement of cubicle doors and door frames.
3. Reinstatement of urinal.
4. General plumbing works to address broken sinks, broken taps, blocked floor trap systems and blocked pipes.
5. Improvement of natural lighting.
6. Improvement of aeration.
7. Painting works.
8. General masonry works to improve climbing steps.
9. Replacement of ceiling boards.
10. Repairs to aging septic tank.
