ERA STAKEHOLDERS ANNUAL FORUM ON THE THEME Sustainable electricity supply and usage

ERA Electricity Regulatory Authority has organized the above mentioned forum in which stakeholders shall update one another on pertinent issues in the energy sector in addition to availing the sectors future outlook.

The Stakeholders Annual Forum will focus on the following topics for discussion and brainstorming:

1.      Government policy & plan for the electricity sector
2.      The scourge of distribution losses and losses reduction strategies: What can stakeholders do
3.      Energy saving and efficient utilization of electricity
4.      The electricity supply situation; the future prospects and demand projections
5.      Tariffs and sustainability of electricity supply

The half day forum is scheduled to take place on December 16th 2008 at the PROTEA HOTEL starting at 8:00 am.
