NOTICE
TO: ALL UMA MEMBERS
ATTENTION: MANAGING DIRECTORS / CHIEF EXECUTIVES
The Ministry of Finance has embarked on
the preparation of 2009/2010 National Budget. Every year UMA actively
participates in this exercise by presenting to the Minister, proposals based on
views/recommendations received from our members. The purpose of this notice is
therefore to request you to forward your budget proposals to the
Secretariat as early as practicable but in any case not later than
Your views will add to those compiled from
the sector meetings held in December 2008. All views collected will be
presented to the whole UMA membership through a general consultative meeting,
thereafter to the Board Sub committee, then to the Board before presentation to
Government.
To facilitate faster compilation of the
proposals, the Association is requesting you to use the format given below.

This is an important exercise for all our
members and therefore, we encourage them to participate in the exercise.
However, for us to meet the deadline set by the Ministry of Finance for
submission of the proposals, the Secretariat would like to receive the
